Relationship between bioenergetic metabolic pathways and muscle fatigue in the context of an increase/maintenance of the electromyographic signal with a decrease in muscle strength. Metabolic causes of peripheral fatigue associated with exercise intensity and duration. Use and interpretation of biomarkers as indicators of the predominance of energy substrates and muscle fatigue. Leveling up of concepts about the fundamentals of the neurophysiology of muscle contraction, the roles of voltage-dependent proteins, neurotransmitters and cell organelles, with a view to establishing relationships with physical exercise. Description of the different types of electromyography, with discussions about the potential and limitations for diagnosis and prospective monitoring of neuromuscular capacities under the influence of immobility and physical exercise (biofeedback). The second seminar will deal with a general topic proposed by the subject coordinator and/or advisor.
